Elder Scrolls Online

Travelling from Daggerfall to Morrowind, take a portal to Oblivion, sail to the Summer Isle; fans of the Elder Scrolls series are drooling like me at a piece of news that came out last week.

Bethesda Softworks, owner of the Elder Scrolls series, has registered the domain name www.elderscrollsonline.com. It seems the ZeniMax, who owns Bethesda, has just created a new division called ZeniMax Online Studios, dedicated to the development of massively-multiplayer online games.

I love this idea! Elder Scrolls: Oblivion is a huge game, so I can't wait to see what Bethesda Softworks will do. It could be better than big. However they just registered the name, so it'll be a while. Here's for waiting patiently for the next MMO smash!
