Sherwood Forest going, going...

We might not like to hear this, but climate change is mostly a man-made problem. We had, and still are, destroyed the trees and forests needed to keep the world cool. The Amazon rainforest is only about 70% of what it once was and getting smaller by the day.

Sherwood Forest is joining the rainforest. Yes, the famous forest in England that housed the legendary Robin Hood is in danger of being extinct. The forest once covered about 100,000 acres; today it is about 450 acres. If Robin Hood was alive today, he'll be stealing from the rich and giving to the forest.

It tell you how bad things are getting when even a national icon like Sherwood Forest is under threat from extincted. Unless man decided to destroy less forests...there goes the neighbourhood.
