Only in the lawyer-fill world of America and Canada can this happen. A Canadian woman who is a drug addict sued her drug dealer for selling her drugs that cause her to have an overdose. And she won!
For negligence? If this had happened in Singapore, the police would have locked both of them up in Changi, rightfully I might add. Give the addict money for taking drugs? The Singapore judge will laugh the case out of his court, if it get that far.
Luckily even the press in Canada are shaking their head at this stupid, stupid ruling. There's hope for the world yet.
