When it rains, it pours. Even when you are in the Middle-East!
A month after it was opened to great fanfare, the tallest skyscraper in the world has been closed to the public. The Burj Khalifa was supposed to show the world that Dubai is back on its feet. I never believe a word of it when it was opened but even I didn’t expect it to close a month after its lavish opening. The close has been blamed on electrical problems but it’s hard to believe that electrical problems can cause an indefinite closure.
And to think, all this before even the first permanent tenants had began their stay.
